40 per cent more likely to access accounts multiple times a day than the average user.
Just last week, Twitter boasted that it was born mobile and said 60 per cent of all users access their accounts via devices, going on to urge brands to wake up and optimise marketing campaigns for smartphones and tablets.
Now, the social network says 80 per cent of UK-based Twitter users log on via mobile devices, and that they're 40 per cent more time to access their accounts more than once a day than the average user.
Meanwhile, mobile users are big on second-screen usage as 66 per cent using Twitter while watching TV, and 50 per cent use Twitter during bedtime.
