Dunkin' Donuts uses Instagram as a filling for $1,000 a month giveaway

Buy a coffee, take a pic, hashtag #DunkinMugUp and win a year's supply of the beverage and more.

Dunkin' Donuts recently marked the one-year anniversary of its m-payments app, which has been downloaded over 3.5 million times, with a $10 mobile voucher giveaway.

The baked goods chain has now relaunched its 'Mug Up' social promotion with coffee provider J.M. Smucker, which calls upon customers to upload photos of themselves sipping on their hot drinks.

Snaps should be added to Instagram with the hashtag #DunkinMugUp for the chance of winning big or online at DunkinAtHome.com/Mug-Up-Contest.

Entrants have the chance to bag a year's worth of Dunkin' Donuts coffee, a $250 Visa gift card and a Dunkin' Donuts gallon coffee mug – total worth of around $375.

The competition runs until June 2nd and three winners will be chosen each month.
