SpinVox: We'll get 10m users

SpinVox has predicted that 10 million people will use its voice-to-screen services by 2008.

The company believes it will change messaging as Skype has changed telephony. CEO Christina Domecq said it’s signed 12 deals with carriers and Web 2.0 companies and that this will bump its user base from 140,000 to 10 million in 18 months.

SpinVox converts any voice message into text and delivers it to any screen – mobile, PC, BlackBerry or PDA. Its most obvious application is turning voicemails into text messages, but there are also possibilities in blogging and other areas.
