Napster goes Swiss
Thursday, 7th June 2007 at 8:15 am

Swisscom has signed up to launch Napster music services and thereby offer 3 million tracks to subscribers.
The Napster Mobile service, co-developed by Napster and Ericsson, leverages Napster's catalogue of full-length songs and artist images, and Ericsson's mobile platform and personalisation content.
Subscribers can search, browse, preview, purchase and subscribe to music content from virtually all record labels via WAP or Java-enabled handsets. The service also includes dual delivery and a recommendation engine. Swisscom will launch it with a major ad campaign this week.
