Hologram-tastic branded app goes live.
Mobile firm Zumobi has teamed up with Marvel Entertainment for an official Iron Man app for iPhone and iPod touch.
The Iron Man Central app is available now, and include news, wallpapers, videos and links through to Iron Man content on the iTunes Store.
Fans can also buy tickets to see Iron Man 2 in cinemas through the application. The app is free, but premium wallpapers are being sold for $0.99 via in-app payments.
Facebook and Twitter are both integrated - the two social networks are becoming almost a standard for branded iPhone apps of this nature.
"We believe this app gives users an even more complete Iron Man experience by delivering news, videos and exclusive wallpapers, as well as special character profiles," says Marvel's global digital media EVP Ira Rubenstein.

It's the latest high-profile client for Zumobi, which has revamped itself into an app development partner for brands, rather than its beginnings as a mobile widget platform.
Iron Man 2 is also being promoted via an official iPhone and iPad game, released last week by Gameloft.
