Boeing sponsoring it, and BlackBerry version on the way next month.
Mobile firm Zumobi has announced the release of an iPhone app for US TV show Meet the Press, with a BlackBerry version to follow in April.
The app lets fans of the Sunday-morning current affairs show watch video interviews, read the tweets of host David Gregory, and even send him questions.
Boeing has signed on as the exclusive sponsor for the app, too - an interesting blend of brands.
"I'm committed to bringing Meet the Press to where the people are," says Gregory. "Whether you are sitting on the bus or waiting in line at the supermarket – ‘Meet the Press’ is now in your pocket and I hope this new access brings more people into the Sunday morning conversation."
It feels like a first step in this kind of TV/app integration. We'd love to see some apps launched around shows that encourage live interaction while the show itself is airing.
