Beta testing phase underway following January iPhone launch
Fierce Wireless reports that Zinio is preparing to take its Unity ebook/magazine platform to the world of Android and is in the early stages of beta testing.
Speaking at CTIA this week, Zinio's chief marketing officer Jeanniey Mullen said the company will also be making unity available for the upcoming Apple iPad.
Zinio has already launched a free Unity app for the iPhone and iPod with a limited number of titles, though the iPad incarnation will offer up content from Zinio's entire 50,000 book/magazine catalogue.
In addition to mobile platforms, Zinio's Unity service is also available for PCs and Macs.
