Good news for motorists, vegetarians and skateboarders.
Zinio has launched an e-magazine reader app for iPhone and iPod touch, allowing people to read a selection of mags on their device.
The app is free (App Store link), but users pay for single issues or subscriptions to the participating publications. It's a spin-off from the existing Zinio service for PC and Mac.
Pages can be read full-screen or zoomed in on, with the ability to watch videos in some of them. There's an article-sharing feature, and the ability to read the mags online or offline.
So what's available? Well, for now it's a fairly limited selection, including Automobile, Car and Driver, Popular Science, Transworld Skateboarding, Vegetarian Times and Yoga Journal.
The app makes its debut on the App Store just ahead of Apple's expected announcement of a larger tablet device - with e-magazines and e-books expected to be one of its key features.
