Zeemote SDK to support BlackBerry

Developers will soon be able create mobile games that are compatible with Zeemote’s JS1 Bluetooth controller.

The Zeemote SDK will allow BlackBerry developers to create games that use the JS1 Controller, a wireless analog joystick that is already supported by selected Sony Ericsson and Nokia devices in Europe.

BlackBerry handsets compatible with the gizmo include the popular Pearl and Curve, with more to be added in due course.

The new Zeemote SDK for BlackBerry includes a set of standards, simple testing procedures and technical support.

The initiative builds on the 'Zeemote Ready' developer programme, a design protocol that ensures an exciting and consistent consumer experience with the JS1 Controller.

Developers can pre-register for the SDK by via the Zeemote website.
