LiveBlog Poll will allow users of the StatiOn mobile/PC IM service to poll friends on any topic.
LiveBlog Poll is a free widget available for download from zedliveblog.com, allowing users to embed it in their website or blog.The app can be customised to enable results to be sent via email updates to a pre-defined email address. It also includes a syndication option and can be shared between users.
LiveBlogTalk and LiveBlogTV are two existing applications offered by Zed. Both are integrated into the Zed StatiOn, a free IM service allowing users to be connected with the Zed community and other messenger contacts (Google, Yahoo, MSN and AOL) via their PC or mobile.
Phil Duffy, marketing manager of Zed UK, said: "This widget is a key component of Zed's Web 2.0 strategy, complementing the already existing portfolio of widgets for bloggers. Our goal is to make Internet a place where users generate their own content and share their own experiences."
