Zed buys Russian content aggregator Temafon

Spaniards back on the acquisition trail again, according to web reports.

Blog Quintura says that Zed has paid more than $5 million for a 51 per cent share in Temafon, which is part of Tema Mobile Media.

Temafon is the exclusive aggregator of Russian-based mobile content to operator Beeline/VimpelCom, which owns an indirect minority share in the aggregator.

Zed already owns another Russian business, Infon, through its acquisition of Monstemob. T

The move continues Player X's strategy of buying companies with close operator relationships. In early May, it acquired UK mobile games aggregator and distributor Player X.
