UK animation studio ZAC Toons has signed a distribution deal with Sony Pictures in Asia.
The deal will see Sony Pictures TV Internation take five of ZAC Toons’ cartoon properties to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and India. Characters include Mr. Patel, Bitter Barney, Dangerous D, The Unremarkables and Cheeky Devil.Troy Zafer, MD of ZAC Toons, said, “We are very excited to be working with Sony Pictures Television International. Their experience and skill in the Asian market will be invaluable as we continue to expand and develop our portfolio of properties for the worldwide marketplace”.
