Consumers that visit youtube.com from their iPhone, Pre, N97 and so on will be taken to a new website, said Youtube in a blog.
"You can log into your account, view your favourites, and discover and share new videos quickly and easily with whoever you choose," it said.
Interestingly, the news followed shortly after announcement by Youtube owner Google that it will acquire video compression software and solutions developer On2 Technologies.
