Oh dear, two thirds of Americans say nothing would make them pay for mobile music.
Jupiter Research says a lack of interest combined with unnecessary hurdles is discouraging most mobile users from mobile music downloads, with 66 per cent rejecting the whole idea, 28 per cent are interested in ringtones, and only 14 per cent are interested in full tracks. Most users cite price as the primary barrier and are looking for songs at the iTunes like 99 cents price. Most operators charge more. After cost, phone accessibility and DRM are also barriers.
