Yamgo goes live

Yamgo launches 'free' mobile TV channel after successful beta trial.

A beta version of the service was launched in August 2007 consisting of 20 live channels featuring music, news, and Yamgo’s own extreme sports line-up.

Yamgo says it will focus on 'all youth market content genres, including comedy, fashion, games, cartoons and films'.

The service can be accessed via yamgo.mobi, while Yamgo.tv also delivers IPTV, downloads, and podcasts for other devices such as the iPod and PlayStation Portable.

Yamgo CEO Ian Mullins said: "We are using extreme sport as the
initial content to demonstrate the service. Extreme sports are a
perfect fit for the short, sharp burst entertainment needs of mobile content consumers."
