Yahoo and Spotify have sealed a promotional partnership that will weave the music streaming service into the search firm's various media platforms.
Spotify will feature across Yahoo entertainment offerings including celebrity-focused 'omg!', and 'Yahoo Movies'.
This will be achieved using the Spotify's recently released 'Play Button', an embedded widget that enables music playback without the user having to leave the website.
Yahoo will also launch contribute to Spotify's growing app store, releasing an app that provides 'premium original content' like artist profiles and programmes.
Yahoo's network has around 700 million unique users per month, all of which will have Spotify blasted in their faces, offering a potential surge of newcomers to the ten million strong streaming service.
