Revamped Yahoo Mobile service now available in eight countries, with more to follow.
Yahoo! Mobile for the Web is now available across more than 300 handset models with HTML-enabled mobile browsers (http://new.m.yahoo.com), while Yahoo! Mobile iPhone is now on the App Store.
Both are available in eight countries, including the UK, Germany, France, the US, Canada, India, Indonesia and the Philippines, with additional localised versions expected to launch over the next several months.
Yahoo first announced details of its revamped mobile offering at Mobile World Congress in February.
The service will include oneSearch, oneConnect, Yahoo Mail, Maps, widgets and Opera Mini 4.2 for wider web browsing.
Last month Yahoo unveiled its new global head of mobile in the form of David Ko, who replaced the long-serving Marco Boerries.
