The solution lets consumers get answers simply by speaking their query. The company claims that while most mobile voice recognition systems are specific to vertical categories such as local listings, oneSearch lets consumers perform 'wide open' searches to deliver results for practically every kind of query.
Devices supported include Blackberry, Nokia, Windows Mobile and iPhone – with support in eight languages. The app can be downloaded through the iPhone app store or by visiting Yahoo's mobile site.
