'Prequel' app goes live as wrestling comic hits real world newsstands
Titan Publishing has released a WWE Heroes Prequel comic as a free iPhone app to coincide with the launch of its new printed WWE Heroes comic book series.
The idea is that fans of the comic can download the app and discover shocking truths about their favourite wrestling stars, including Triple H, Big Show, Undertaker, Chris Jericho and a what Titan calls a 'surprise guest star'.
The WWE Heroes cycle is written by Keith Champagne, who has penned comics such as Justice Society of America, Green Lantern Corps, World War III and Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters.
Artwork is provided by Andy Smith, who has worked as a penciller for Marvel, DC, Image, Acclaim and CrossGen Entertainment.
