Night Elves and Tauren rejoice - World of Warcraft content is now accessible on mobile.
World of Warcraft (WoW) creator Blizzard may still be working out how to transfer its insanely popular massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) to mobile, but now a 'halfway house' solution is available from Goware.The company's DoMo HomePage mobile portal now has a plug-in that enables WoW users to pull up information about their character from the game, formatted correctly for the smaller screen.
Goware's technology essentially allows users to build their own connected 'on-device' mobile portal using content from the web or a PC, including HTML, Word documents, PowerPoint, pictures and videos.
DoMo HomePage is available as part of a free beta trial.
