Airborne Entertainment is to create a mobile music proposition for US indie label Wind-Up Records.
Canada’s Airborne, a subsidiary of Cybird, will develop ringtones, ringbacks and OTA full-track downloads for the label’s biggest artists including Evanescence, Seether, Finger Eleven and more. It will add more mobile applications and products at a later date.“Airborne Entertainment has a long standing reputation in the mobile entertainment space and this partnership further expands our ability to connect with the network of music fans looking for the latest in music downloads and mobile personalization products,” said Jim Cooperman, COO for Wind-Up Records.
Airborne Entertainment is an aggregator and publisher of mobile entertainment content and applications, including games, images, video, ringtones, ringback tones and informational content. Its branded portfolio includes including Family Guy, Maxim, NHL Mobile and others.
