60 Mario And Friends is number five on the games chart; does Nintendo know about this?
The appearance of this app on the Apple App Store (at No.5 in the UK today) is a conundrum all right.
For a start it's not a game, it's a compendium of sound clips put together by French developer Isayonline.
It's clearly nothing to do with Nintendo at all, yet features screen shots of Mario, Yoshi, Zelda, and Donkey Kong. One wonders how and why Apple approved this.
Interestingly, the screenshot of Street Fighter, has been removed implying that Capcom have taken action against its IP appearing within the app description.
