WapStart and InMobi team up for Russian ad assault

Deal gives InMobi advertisers access to CIS markets via WapStart’s 600m ad monthly impressions.

InMobi wants to give its partners a convenient point of entry into the fast growing Russian mobile market.

Meanwhile Russian publishers in the Plus1 WapStart network, will receive access to the global ad campaigns handled by InMobi’s advertiser sales efforts in six regions and offices around the world.

Rob Jonas, VP and MD of Europe and Middle East at InMobi, said: " WapStart is a great addition to our partner list in over 125 countries and will improve advertiser ROI through increased consumer reach in the Russian and CIS markets.

WapStart runs the mobile network Plus1.WapStart and also operates a family of mobile sites called Top WapStart. It services over 3,000 mobile publishers with 1.1m unique visitors and 22million ad requests daily.
