Flirtomatic attracted 100 million WAP page impressions in August.
The UK-based online and mobile dating specialist says the figure represents a 100-fold increase from November 2006 and has enabled it to start tapping mobile advertising revenues.The company launched in the UK last year as a free, cross-platform 'flirting' network and has a registered user base of 400,000. Seventy per cent of its users are aged 18-30 years.
In June Handmade Mobile Entertainment, the holding company of Flirtomatic, raised funds from Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures, Seraphim Capital and founders.
Flirtomatic is researching the US market entry for expansion over the coming months.
