US trade show is looking for participants in a Europe v North America innovation face-off.
CTIA Enterprise & Applications takes place at the San Diego Convention Center on October 10th to 13th.
The organisers have changed the name from CTIA Wireless IT and Entertainment to reflect a new focus on (self-evidently) enterprise and apps.
And as part of this, they have re-vamped the conference component, which includes a speed presentation session showcasing the innovative offerings of eight North American and eight European/EMEA companies.
It will be part of a 'distruptive tech' session moderated by industry stalwart Paul 'Monty' Munford, so it should be entertaining.
He said: "Each company has five minutes to convince the audience of how wonderful and innovative they are. It should be a little anarchic, in fact I will have a gong to boot off companies if they're boring.

"There will also be a networking session afterwards where the real business will be done."
