Think Blue goes live in time for the Geneva Auto Salon.
Volkswagen has teamed up with games firm Fishlabs again, for the release of free iPhone racing game 'Volkswagen Think Blue. Challenge'.
The game promotes the fuel-saving capabilities of VW's Polo and Polo BlueMotion cars. So rather than drive fast, players are rewarded for driving efficiently and as far as possible.
There are online rankings to rate the best players, while they can also upload their best performances to Volkwagen's eGames Facebook fan page.
The game also has a location-based feature to show players their nearest Volkswagen dealer, to get a product brochure or book a test drive.
Meanwhile, three bands from Volkswagen's Sound Foundation initiative contribute the music for the game.

"Fishlabs has implemented the concept of fuel economy not only creatively, but also in an entertaining fashion," says VW's Cornelia Lenz. "It shows that fuel economy can also be virtual fun."
Fishlabs has previously developed two free iPhone games for Volkswagen - Volkswagen Polo Challenge 3D and Volkswagen Scirocco R 24H Challenge 3D.
tMeanwhile, the carmaker has also worked with Firemint on a branded version of the latter's Real Racing game.
