Vodafone to cut about 500 jobs in the UK

World's largest operator reduces headcount to save on operating costs.

Vodafone, which employs 10,000 workers in the UK, had previously announced plans for £1bn of cost cuts to prepare for the economic downturn and for increased competition. The firm said it would maintain its investment in new products and services, so we can hope that the content team are not affected.
