Arun Sarin will step down as CEO of Vodafone after five years in the job.
He leaves on a high with group revenue up 14.1 per cent to £35.5 billion, and will be remembered at the chief exec who took Voda strongly into the world’s developing markets.Sarin said: "It has been a privilege to lead Vodafone for the last five years and to have been involved in the company for such a long time. I feel that I have accomplished what I set out to achieve, particularly in developing and implementing a new strategy."
Deputy Vittrio Colao is now expected to step up to the top job.
