Vivendi Games Mobile vets offer skills

Recruitment resource set up by VG Mobile producer to help ex-employees find new roles.

A new service has been set up to help staff who lost their jobs as the result of restructuring at Activision Blizzard.

The service, called Talented People and founded by former Vivendi Games Mobile exec producer Simon Poidevin, takes the form of a website hosting the CV’s of Activision Blizzard employees who have left the group.

This site is already being used by recruitment agencies in France who "welcome the idea and the team’s ambition to find a concrete and practical reassignment solution".

Vivendi Games Mobile was closed back in November along with several other Activision Blizzard subsidiaries following the merger of Vivendi Games and Activision.

Poidevin said: “Our know-how being in the field of multimedia, it seemed logical to create a site which presents our profession and our new business projects. As a publisher of PC, console and mobile phone games, we have very different profiles to offer ranging from developers, marketing experts, sales people and administrative staff among others. Our objective is to offer recruitment agencies a site in which they can quickly find the talent they are looking for in all kinds of fields."
