IMImobile-powered dual download offering will be up and running in time for V Festival

Virgin Media will launch a music download store for mobile and PC at this weekend's V Festival.

The store, which is powered by IMImobile's DaVinci platform, will offer a la carte downloads, monthly bundles and a ringtone catalogue.

V Festival attendees will be given a free one month trial to the service if they text a currently top secret number.

As part of the trial, subscribers will receive five free tracks of their choice and have the option to continue the service for £4 per month.

Existing Virgin Media mobile customers will be able to sign up for £3 for five tracks a month.
