Barclays Pingit is a person-to-person money service available to over 16s with a UK current account and mobile number.

It lets registered users transfer up to £300 at a time using only a mobile number, without the need to share bank details. The app has been downloaded more than 400,000 times since it launched in February.

Barclays is currently ramping up the marketing around the service, especially since it's been made available to all UK bank customers.

Hence, this rather effective but quite unsettling video viral...
