Casual games and the introduction of classics from the Sierra back catalogue will be the focus at Vivendi Games Mobile for the next six months.
The first half of the year will also see the release of new titles from the Centerscore studio in San Mateo, which VG Mobile bought in September.Just arriving on carrier decks now is Crash Bandicoot Party, a series of 14 one-button mini-games which can be played solo or in hot-seat mode. The game, which is the mobile version of the Crash Boom Bang title recently released on Nintendo DS by VG Mobile sister company Sierra, was developed in-house.
Meanwhile, February will see the simultaneous launch of M.A.C.H. Air Combat on mobile and PSP.
VG Mobile also has high hopes for puzzler The Incredible Machine, a Sierra game that first appeared on PCs in the 1990s. The game will be released in March with support from press and online campaigns, consumer competitions and radio spots.
Also released in March is the internally-produced Office Wars, followed in April by puzzler Shock Blocks. Rounding out the first-half titles is Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail, which again hails from the Sierra PC stable.
