VG confirms 2H07 line-up

Original IP and Sierra back catalogue games dominate VG Mobile's 2H07 line up.

The France-based publisher is also looking to further its viral marketing activities following a successful MySpace campaign to promote its Surviving High School game and is assessing opportunities in the user-gen content space.

The original IP line up is headed by Shock Blocks - Brain Shock, Slide N' Loop and Urban Attack. Hailing from South Korea, Shock Blocks is a block-matching puzzler, while Slide N' Loop is a 'quest-driven' puzzler developed in partnership with toy inventor Zeki Orack.

First person shooter (FPS) Urban Attack, meanwhile, is the fruit of 18 months of development that VG Mobile promises will deliver vector graphics across all devices, including those that aren't 3D-enabled.

Crash Bandicoot and Spyro The Dragon lead the Sierra-led charge. Crash of the Titans is the latest installment of the franchise, with the mobile version to be  released simultaneously with the console/PC SKUs of the game, benefitting from a multimillion dollar cross-marketing campaign.

The Legend of Spyro: Eternal Night picks up where The New Beginning left off, with 13 levels of platform-based action.

Rounding out the release slate are Leisure Suit Larry: Love For Sail, Delta Force and SWAT: Elite Troops.

Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile, said: "All of the upcoming games will continue to feature a refreshingly different marketing approach that carriers have begun to associate with Vivendi Games Mobile, including one of a kind digital and viral initiatives as well as marketing strategies based on user-generated content."
