10 new devices and deals with MOG, Ustream, EA and Skype.
As expected, Verizon Wireless made a splash at the CES show yesterday with a raft of announcements about its 4G network, devices and content partnerships.
The operator unveiled 10 devices, including smartphones from HTC, LG, Motorola and Samsung, and tablets from Motorola and Samsung.
Verizon also says it will expand its 4G LTE network to 140 more US markets by the end of 2011.
"2011 will be a gang buster year, especially as we combine our growing 4G LTE network with our amazing lineup of 4G devices and applications that take advantage of high speed and low latency," said EVP and CTO Tony Melone.
It's the content and apps deals that are equally interesting, though.

Streaming music service MOG will be preloaded on all Verizon's 4G smartphones, with users able to pay for the monthly subscription service via carrier billing.
Video livestreaming service Ustream has secured a similar deal, allowing Verizon's 4G users to broadcast and view live video streams from their devices.
EA Mobile has announced a new version of its Rock Band game, which will be playable over the network, with a Buddy Lists feature helping players to find their friends.
Meanwhile, Verizon will also be making Skype's video-enabled mobile app available for its 4G customers. The agreement builds on the existing partnership between the two companies, which saw Skype's voice app launched on Verizon last year.
