Virgin Mobile has launched a ‘Festival Buddy’ for its V Festival music event.The application allows festival goers on any UK network to find line-up information, create a personal schedule, find site-specific information, and download free V Festival related content including ringtones, wallpapers and videos. They text a shortcode to get the download.
Paul Shulver, music sponsorship manager for Virgin Mobile, said: “The Festival Buddy will be modified for both V Festival sites, with opening times, maps, traffic, line-up information, safety information and free downloads, offering the chance for V Festival attendees to completely tailor-make their festival experience.”
