Now tracking more iPhone app charts, more often.
UK developer Ustwo has announced a server-side update to its PositionApp iPhone app, which should make it even more useful to developers.
The app was launched earlier this year, allowing developers to track the Top 300 paid and free App Store charts around the world, drilling down to individual apps' positions over time.
The chart data is now being refreshed every three hours rather than every eight hours, and Ustwo has added more countries to its tracking list.
Meanwhile, PositionApp now tracks 19 different games sub-categories as well as the overall category charts.
Good news: it lets you tell that (for example) that Rush Hour is the fastest climbing puzzle game in Estonia in the last month.

PositionApp was free for its first two months on the App Store, thanks to a sponsorship deal with AdMob. It now costs £3.99, and Ustwo says it's selling 20 downloads a day at the moment.
"It's clear that it's an app that stays on people's phone, and more importantly gets usage daily," says Ustwo frontman Mills.
"We've had more than one million user sessions and more than seven minutes average session length."
