US Cellular and Zed develop Ringback Radio

New service is an upgrade for the ringtone storefront Tone Room Deluxe.

US Cellular and marketing solutions firm Zed have developed the Ringback Radio upgrade, building on their Tone Room Deluxe ringtone service.

Ringback Radio enables US Cellular users to access pre-selected content that refreshes on a monthly basis as the selected ringback that callers will hear.

Tone Room Deluxe will launch seven Ringback Radio Stations including various genres such as hip-hop, country, and pop. To start the service off, radio stations will provide a number of limited tones available only to Ringback Radio subscribers.
