Sony Ericsson has announced a deal with Universal Music Publishing Group for PlayNow Uncut, the handset maker's promotional platform for breaking artists.The service formerly known as M-BUZZ offers videos, interviews, tracks and tour dates, with the Universal deal adding Gavin Thorpe, Flykkiller, The Answering Machine and Ironweed Project to the talent on offer.
PlayNow Uncut complements Sony Ericsson's other music initiatives, including PlayNow Arena (a la carte music downloads) and PlayNow Plus (all you can eat music downloads).
