And there are improvements for iPhone developers in the latest version too.
Unity Technologies has announced version 3.0 of its Unity 3D development platform, which until now helped create games for the Web, PC, Mac, Wii and iPhone.
However, the company has announced that it's supporting some new devices, including Apple's iPad and Android smartphones, along with PS3.
The addition of iPad and Android will bolster Unity's support from mobile games developers, as will improvements in Unity 3.0 for iPhone - including streaming audio support, Bluetooth multiplayyer and a fast 2D sprite engine.
Unity 3.0 remains free for commerical use, although the premium version Unity Pro costs $1,500 per developer seat.
Unity iPhone costs $300 per seat, while Unity iPhone Pro costs $1,200 per seat - with discounts for people who are upgrading from previous versions.
