Looking to support the best ten mobile founders with $150,000 of support services.
Springboard is a London and Cambridge based organisation that combines investment capital with a mentor-led accelerator programme. It's based at Google Campus in London and ideaSpace in Cambridge.
And it's backed by some serious mobile angels including Russell Buckley (Admob - sold for $750m), Harry Dewhirst (Amobee - sold for $321m) and Ben Barakas (co-founder Admeld - sold for $400m). It also calls on mobile, technical, financial and business mentors from around the world.
For its second bootcamp project, Springboard has turned its attention to mobile and is looking for the best founders in any area of the market.
Winners will receive over $150,000 of free services, seed capital of up to £15,000 – in return for six per cent of founder equity.
Teams that are already funded or have revenue can win access to the free services for only 3 per cent of founder equity.
Entrepreneurs have until July 8th 2012 to compete for one of ten places. Visit www.springboard.com to find out more.
Springboard 2011 helped six of the ten teams to raise an average of £300,000 investment capital with more to follow.
