Big focus on content and links.
Twitter has launched its long-awaited native app for iPad.
It made its debut on the App Store last night, and like the official apps for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry, is a free download.
The app makes use of the larger screen on Apple's tablet with a focus on helping users view videos, photos and linked websites 'in-line' - without leaving the app.
"Twitter for iPad takes advantage of the iPad’s fluid touch interface, letting you move lots of information around smoothly and quickly – without needing to open and close windows or click buttons," explains an official blog post.
The app will compete with third-party iPad apps like Oosfara and Twitterrific.
