80 per cent access the micro-blog via mobile.
Twitter has hit ten million users in the UK, almost one year after it launched a London office, while a Dublin office is set to follow.
It's an impressive figure, accounting for one-sixth of the UK, which comes on the back of yesterday's report that over one billion people now use social networks.
Additionally, a staggering 80 per cent of Brits access their Twitter accounts via mobile, tweeting via mobile web and apps.
The micro-blog will likely be happy with the news, having recently updated its mobile platforms for higher speeds and Promoted Products.
