Twistbox Entertainment has opened a London office and installed ex-Warner Bros. mobile exec Justin Richardson to head up European sales and marketing.
The US-based mobile content publisher has also hired Henrik Salzman, a former account manager with GM Entertainments, to handle Scandinavia out of the company’s Stockholm office.Twistbox (formally WAAT Media) bought German publisher Charismatix in February, before raising $12.75 million in September, when it also took on its new moniker.
Twistbox Entertainment CEO Ian Aaron said: “Building our local presence in Europe that now includes offices in London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Krakow, Stockholm and Moscow is a critical piece of our expansion plans as we take our programming, operator support and revenue to the next level.”
