There are just three weeks to go until senior execs from the worlds of mobile and TV gather in New York for the Mobile TV Summit USA.
Informa Telecoms & Media's event will take place on November 14th to 16th at Bridgewaters in New York. Delegates will hear 24 case studies, take part in seven interactive panel sessions and network with industry peers. Speakers include representatives from MTV, Verizon, MobiTV, Endemol and more. Meanwhile KTF will discuss its experiences of the world's first commerical mobile TV service in South Korea.The conference arrives at a time of rising interest in mobile TV all over the world. Japan launched a broadcast service earlier this year, while Germany, Italy and Vietnam are among the regions experimenting with the Nokia-led DVB-H standard. And in the US, Verizon is preparing to launch a service based on Qualcomm's MediaFLO standard. In the streaming TV area, MobiTV has over one million paying subscribers worldwide.
