It's not VoIP, it's an "all-in-one conversations hub"...
Mobile VoIP firm Truphone has announced that it has revamped its Android application, which is now available in Google's Android Market.
Truphone for Android 2.0 has a completely reworked user interface, while the company says it's also faster and more responsive.
The core functionality remains the same: users can make cheap voice calls, while also chatting to their Skype and Google Talk contacts. It also pulls in instant messaging from those two services, along with MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, and AIM.
Oh yes, and Twitter is supported too.
"The improvements to the Android application come from customer feedback and lessons learned from our first application to provide a slicker and faster user experience," says Truphone's director of consumer apps.
