Trixcell says Chat for Facebook uses Facebook’s APIs and protocols rather than proxy servers or HTTP clients to power its chat service.
This means uninterrupted service across all mobile networks on a wide variety of J2ME devices – that's 95 per cent of phones.
It also promises a single sign-on and minimal bandwidth usage (200Kb per 30 minutes of chat).
This is a departure for Trixcell, which is best-known for selling mobile magic tricks. It has a longstanding distribution agreeement with Fox.
