Tremor Video launches cross-platform video ad solution

Says it is genuinely 'one size fits all'.

Brands are increasingly interested in richer forms of mobile advertising that can offer a more engaging experience than plain old static banners.

The trouble is it's almost impossible to serve one campaign that works across the huge variety of devices types and OSs in the smartphone universe.

Tremor Video reckons its new Mobile Creative Platform, which it inherited when it bought Transpera last year, is different. It uses a simple CMS so that non-technical teams can create ads and serve them to any devices.

The tech detects the screen size and device before delivering the content.

Yichel Chan, VP and GM, Mobile and CTV for Tremor Video, said: "Mobile advertisers and publishers are making great strides into new formats like HTML5, but they still have trouble delivering a consistent ad experience across the mobile landscape.

"The Mobile Creative Platform means advertisers and publishers can serve rich, engaging interactive video ads across all mobile devices. This provides the peace of mind that the ad will always look good."

ME's 'Monetising Mobile: The Rich Media Future of Mobile Advertising' conference will show you just exactly what rich media ads can do for your business, as the tech moves beyond motionless banners and into interactive video and games to engage customers.
