Vendor will launch its smartphone in Europe this week, five months after its unveiling.
The Japanese firm first previewed the skinniest touchscreen device back in May, and we've been wondering what happened to it since then.
Now, the firm looks set to send it to retail following an event in London on Thursday. The TG01 is a Windows-based handset, which measures 9.9mm thick, and 4.4 inches wide. It is big enough to be a media player as much as a phone.
The phone is also the first to be based on Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon processor. On top of this is Toshiba's different UI, which is all based around menu items in 'stripes'.
Elsewhere there is HSPDA support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3.2mp camera.
