High-end bundle includes world's first 13.3-inch tablet.
Toshiba is the latest Android vendor that believes it can end Apple's continuing reign atop the tablet market, and it plans to do so with the launch of three new Excite devices in June, according to VentureBeat.
Seemingly, Toshiba has taken note of seven-inch Kindle entering the market to become the number two tablet because the Excites will come in three sizes to cover all consumer tastes.
These will range from 7.7-inches, 10.1-inches and 13.3-inches, with the latter marking a world first for its size, leading Toshiba to christen the device as a "personal gaming tablet."
The trio will have mid to high end price tags ranging from $449 to $749, while coming loaded with Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processors, Ice Cream Sandwich and anti-scratch Gorilla Glass.
Additionally, memory will range from 16GB to 64GB, while each tablet will include a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing offering.
In January, Toshiba also made another 'world's first' with the unveiling of the Excite X10, which is the thinnest and lightest device on the market.
