The app was developed with Mobile Commerce is downloadable for free from the app store.
It features an augmented reality element ‘table reality’ that allows users to actually see where the nearby restaurants are, a ‘tip calculator’ that makes it easy to work out how much gratuity to leave and ‘my sommelier’ which gives tips on what wine goes well with certain dishes.
Carl Lyons, Top Table's marketing director, said: “Toptable customers have been asking us to develop an app and our aim has been to create one that makes it really easy for them to book restaurants however and whenever they like."
